C-suite Status, But Real Life Crisis…
I’d been a member of INSEAD business school’s first ever executive coaching cohort back in 2018, so I had the self-awareness to recognize what was happening, but it also highlighted something else for me – what I truly needed didn’t exist.
I was doing everything as best I could to find solutions and support:

I had an executive coach (who was fantastic)
-
I was working out 5 times a week (at a friendly local Crossfit box)
-
I was reading self-development books and listening to podcasts (and learnt a lot)
But everything was in silos…
I felt completely alone and overwhelmed trying to piece all of these fragments together.
I’d realized by then that a huge part of the puzzle was missing.

Desperately Searching For Solutions…
My lifetime passion for health and fitness meant I already strongly believed in a mind-body connection that wasn’t recognised in traditional approaches. I knew that my physical and mental health weren’t separate entities, they were inextricably linked – that how I slept, ate and moved had a huge impact on how I showed up.
In my quest for answers to my situation, I became increasingly interested in neuroscience.
“What I discovered there was like finding the light switch in a dark room”
Here was hard evidence about how so much was inter-connected, measurable and, crucially, could be ‘rewired’.
It also left me convinced that brain health is the critical core of leadership performance and wellbeing. It’s your cognitive capabilities that determine how well you will:
